Major dullard moment for me yesterday. Someone at work had a radio on playing an oldies channel and that Pink Floyd song came on, not sure what the name is, the one with the lyric, .."we don't need no education...Hey, teadhers, leave those kids alone!" Well, the dullardness of moi came out when lisening I finally got the point of the song, lol. When I first heard it I was maybe 12 and thought it was a cool anti-school song! Used to sing that verse all the time in class, until the teacher jumped my case for it. The sad thing is I never did bother to listen to the lyrics completely to figure out what it actually meant, until yesterday. Duh me.
At least I haven't been running around singing the lyrics wrong like I do with others. Secret Agent Man is a prime example. For 3/4 of my life I've thought they were saying Secret Asian man, and it was some wierd anti-war song from the 60's. One day dad heard me singing along on the radio and nearly busted a seam laughing.
Well, all for me today,
Ciao kids,
Madame Hoosier~
